Making this fall decoration is a great way to upcycle ugly plastic packaging and flower pots. We can choose containers of various types and sizes for creation. It only depends on us which one we choose.

Instructions
We have prepared a very simple guide for autumn bark decoration. We will use the old plastic packaging for the flowerpot or the flowerpot itself. If we want to make a decoration for a balcony or other covered place, we use a flower pot cover. On the other hand, an ordinary flower pot is better for the garden, so that it does not retain excess water after the rain.
Material
- plastic flowerpot/wrapper
- pieces of pine bark
- melt gun + cartridge
Pine bark
Where to get pine bark? Just go for an autumn walk. Bark is easily found on the ground in a pine forest. You just have to look around and choose the right pieces. Smaller, not too thick pieces of bark are best.
Preparation
Wash the selected container, degrease it and let it dry. Prepare crusts proportional to the size and shape of the container. Clean the individual pieces of bark and adjust as needed.
Bonding
Let the melt gun heat up properly. We glue with hot glue. Apply the glue to the surface of the flower pot and to the edges of the bark that overlap. We press each piece thoroughly and hold it until the glue cools down.
Arranging autumn decorations
Blooming autumn heather, chrysanthemums and other decorative plants of your choice and taste are perfect for a container decorated with pine bark. We can easily replace a flowered plant with another one.
