Heather is a beautiful decorative plant that is great for decoration and creation. For autumn decoration, we can choose the classic common heather or choose from a wide range of colorful cultivars in the shops. They differ in the color of the flowers, often also the color of the whole plant. We can find heather plants green, yellow-green and colored in a rusty or gray-green color. The flowers have many shades of pink, purple, white and yellow. We choose the color of the heather that we like. If we want to have a more colorful heart, we can mix heathers of several colors.

Even a beginner can create a heather heart. Production does not take much time, we can fit in within half an hour without any problems. It's a great idea for a nice handmade gift.

Preparation
We cut individual heather twigs and divide them into two equally large parts.
Tying a heart
We make a small loop at the end of the wire so that we don't get hurt by it. We take a bunch of heather and wrap it with wire. We gradually connect more and more pieces of heather until we have the desired size. We tie the left and right parts in the same way. We tie both halves of the heart in the same direction from top to bottom. We connect both parts and tie tightly. At the same time, we will also create an eyelet for hanging. We shape a heart and firmly connect the ends with a wire at the tip. We cut off the wire and the protruding ends and clean it.
Arrangement
A heather heart is a nice natural decoration for homes and cottages. We can use it to decorate a door, a wall, an old sideboard or a wardrobe at the cottage… It depends on our imagination and taste.
