Christmas candlestick

Candlesticks create a pleasant festive atmosphere in the apartment. The Christmas candlestick fits perfectly on the table and chest of drawers. We can arrange them in various decorative containers. Candlesticks made from natural materials are beautiful.

Instructions

How to make a Christmas candlestick? Natural Christmas decoration can be created even by complete beginners, it is not difficult at all. All you have to do is prepare the appropriate material and the decoration will be ready in no time.

Material

  • decorative container
  • kenzan
  • arranging material
  • silver spruce
  • spilled
  • juniper
  • mistletoe
  • small ornaments
  • candle holder
  • candle

Preparation

We start by preparing the green arrangement material. We choose green because it is intended for arranging fresh flowers. We cut the mass of the required shape and size and let it soak thoroughly in water. We will also prepare twigs that we will arrange. We will adjust them to the required size. We cut their ends diagonally. At the end, we also cut the needles so that the twigs can be easily inserted into the material.

Kenzan

Floristic “hedgehog” or kenzan is a metal tool for arranging flowers. It is quite heavy, so we use it to fix the decoration. Place the kenzan on the bottom of the container (in its center) and stick the arrangement material on it. Thanks to this, the decoration will be stable. Fresh twigs have their own weight. The arrangement hedgehog is heavy and will hold the entire decoration. More subtle decoration can be stuck directly into the hedgehog, but it would not be enough for a larger arrangement and a candle. That's why we add arranging material. It will heighten the decoration in the bowl and we can easily arrange a large number of twigs and a candle in it.

Arrangement

We gradually insert individual twigs into the arrangement material. We copy the shape of the container with a slight overlap. We place the basic twigs in a cross opposite each other and gradually add more so that we get the desired shape. We pierce the twigs in several layers. We use a different material in each layer so that the Christmas candlestick looks interesting in color and shape. Insert a metal candle holder into the center of the decoration. We decorate the entire decoration with mistletoe, small ornaments and a candle. The decoration is arranged in wet arranging material. The twigs should not dry out like this. Add water to the bowl so that the arrangement material does not dry out.

Never leave burning candles unattended!
